Agreement about
use of sub-domains 
to domains owned by K9joy


K9joy makes web sites with 1 MB web space and a POP3 e-mail account available 
as sub-domains to its main domains.  Those sub-domains are pointing to web 
space located on K9joy’s server lifetimewebhosting.com and can be accessed 
through the Internet by any surfer, just like another web site with its own 
domain name.  The accounts are subject to the standard user terms of the 
server and to the following terms that constitute a contract between K9joy 
and the User:

Each account is set up with its own registered domain name and password.  
This information, together with the account set-up information that will allow 
the User to upload/download web pages on the server through FTP, will be 
supplied when the account is set up.  It is the User’s responsibility to get the 
necessary software program to do this. 

The account comes with 1 MB web space for a maximum of 5 pages coded in 
HTML, a maximum bandwidth of 100 Mb/month, and a POP3 email account. Extra 
space and bandwidth can be made available at extra charge.

K9joy charges a set-up for setting up the account, and a yearly fee that is 
payable in advance.  For continuous use of the account, the yearly fee for the 
following year must be paid before the current year expires.  K9joy will send a 
payment reminder per e-mail before the account gets closed by default.

If an account gets closed, renewal requires a complete set-up from scratch and 
will be charged the set-up fee again.  In such case, there is no guarantee that 
the same domain name can be maintained.

The account is limited to a total use of storage space on the server that is no 
more than 1 MB.  If this limit is exceeded at any time, the account will be 
terminated with no further warning.   It is highly recommended that the User 
implement the set-up parameters as an e-mail account on his/her own computer, 
so that e-mails on the server are emptied on a regular basis, such as every time 
the user goes on-line.

The User may use the account for any legitimate personal purpose, including any 
legal business activity.  However, if the User involves the account in any kind of 
active spam (sending multiple, unsolicited e-mails to people who did not request 
it) or as passive relay for any kind of automatic broadcasting of e-mails on a 
mass-scale, or in any other activities that are illegal in the USA or in Canada, it 
will be closed immediately, and no refund given.

The account will not be subject to any advertising, other than what the User 
decides, and it will not be subject to any kind of gathering or recording of 
personal information either.  The use of the account is not subject to any 
software whatsoever being installed on the User’s computer, including cookies, 
and the use of the account will not be subject to any monitoring, except for the 
use of storage space and bandwidth on the server.

The User may use the web space for any purpose that is legal in terms of the 
laws of the USA and Canada.  Composition of the web site and its contents is 
totally up to the User, yet restricted to what can be accomplished through the 
use of FTP and HTML.  Access to additional services on the server will be subject 
to negotiation on an individual basis.

K9joy will use its best efforts to make sure that the account will be kept in good 
technical working condition, but will not be liable for any errors, damages, losses, 
or inconveniences of any kind suffered by the User or anyone affiliated with the 
User, resulting from technical problems associated with errors on the server or 
with K9joy.

This agreement is subject to the laws of British Columbia, and, in case of any 
disputes resulting from this agreement, the conflict will be resolved through the 
Law Courts of the Province of British Columbia.
